Membership Services

We issue all types of certificates in relation to trade such as verification of origin of export products, signatures and membership certificates. Member businesses are given official commendations and assistances with various events. In addition, we lend conference rooms, provide policy information, operate an archive and hold numerous councils.

Public Relations Activities

The CCI strives to give a wide publicity of the opinions of member companies and the projects of CCI through the local media, and at the same time, publishes promotional materials and various research reports and disseminates them to members and local residents.

Designation of Alternative Military Service Companies
The Korean government operates a system for qualified young professionals who are willing to work in designated companies as alternative military service. We were delegated by the government to select SMEs under this system, to help alleviate the shortage of manpower. With approximately 2,500 applications received from 70 local chambers every year, KCCI follows a fair and strict evaluation procedure for the selection of Alternative Military Service Companies.

Intellectual Property Center

Being designated by the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO), the "Ulsan Intellectual Property Center" provides assistance from patent application to its commercialization stages  with a range of services such as education on industrial property right, support of necessary expenses for patent application, as well as offering basic information that includes the searching for patent information, and handing-out of patent application forms.

Community Activities in Industrial Complex

With a purpose to improve the quality of life for the member companies' employees and to encourage progressive culture at industrial complex, the CCI offers various culture programs such as educational lectures, mountain hiking festival, literary writing and fine arts contest, industrial site tours,

Commerce and Industry Promotion Projects

We are helping member businesses to enhance their capacity so that they can competently cope with the internal and external changes of the economic environment by promptly providing information on the government’s initiatives and policy direction and holding numerous lectures, seminars, training and education (CEOs and middle managers). We also offer customized education services such as the competitiveness strengthening education tour to promote the sound development of the local economy.

Research & Analysis

We monitor local economic conditions, issues, and outlooks. We release this information to local businesses to help them keep abreast of current economic developments. We relay this information to related government offices to be applied in government economic policy as well. Also, we have conducted ongoing study of overall economic activities that applied to local economic development policy and uses to strengthen the region’s business competitiveness.

International Trade Promotion Projects

To promote international exchange on a private and national level, the CCI implements a wide array of international activities such as dispatching and receiving trade mission, signing a cooperation agreement with foreign chambers, taking part in overseas exhibition, offering seminar, and arranging overseas industrial tour for awarded employees, etc.

Meanwhile, in cooperation with ICC, we conduct a survey on business community to incorporate their opinions in the enactment process of regulation on international trade.  The CCI also issues Certificate of Origin (C/O), and other trade-related documents.

Trade Inquiry Service

The CCI provides information on potential foreign business partners to help small-and medium-sized companies in their search for overseas market. The CCI also arrange one-on-one contact meeting with visiting foreign trade missions.

With the top-class research and analysis experts in trade and marketing, we assist our member companies to seek overseas opportunities. The level of our extensive knowledge matches up to that of major economic research institutes. Reports include: new industrial technology trends; market updates; national trade regulations; national FTA arrangements under the WTO regime, subsequent changes to the trade environment and countermeasures.
